In what just may be the most stupid decision in paper documenting, I have started documenting T and my relationship from when we met up until our marriage. That’s 2008 to 2013, and coincides with when I started Project Life. It’s the ultimate “catch up”, at least until I finish it and decide to catch up on my entire life… and then my husband’s… and then my ancestors’. Ah. For now, I’m taking my time with this and putting no pressure on myself. At the very least I’m having so much fun with the size. The cover page is made with the Scrapbook Werkstatt Wedding Kit (available on the 26th). Those gold scrabble alphas? The washi lettering? The dictionary text? So much love for it all.
And then the next few pages are from the Mai Kit (also available in three days from now). The first photo ever taken with the both of us.
And then a wedding one. Our first non-“forced” kiss (the one after “You may now kiss the bride”).
I’m hoping to include as much journaling as possible. This is from a journal entry during our engagement. Printed onto vellum and put above some lovely cardstock in the kit.
Same with this journaling. T has his journaling input in there too.
A lot of the photos I remember immediately, and a lot I can’t remember even slightly. Luckily I have a husband with the brain of an elephant.
Even just by looking at these photos I had the feeling I had back then – the one that long distance relationships bring. I’m so glad we’re not doing long distance anymore. It worked for us, it taught us a lot, and hey, we’re married now, but please, universe, never again.

Project Life is an awesome, easy way of memory keeping and remembering the small things that make up life. This is my third year and it still excites me. I’ve blogged spreads for 2013, 2014, and 2015. I keep a comprehensive collection of larger images of my PL pages in Flickr albums (2008-2013, 2013, 2014, 2015). I share my pages a month after they’ve been made every Tuesday on the blog, and usually as soon as I’ve made them on Instagram (#cgpl2015).
