Three of my favourite things.
I bought a new blade and mat for my Silhouette, as well as some gold foil, and it is as though the heavens themselves opened up. I was creating until 3am last night. It’s seven in the morning now so that should give you a bit of insight into my enthusiasm.
I kind of really like it when my pages have a theme. It means I am working with less things on my desk. In this case, it was simply magazine cut outs from one magazine, gold foil cut outs, Goethe book pages, and the Gossamer Blue September kit scraps. It makes it easier to make pages because I’ve limited my choices.
That “today” script is from One Little Bird. I’ve been thinking a lot about my addiction to the internet lately, and Andrea’s post came at the perfect time for me to call myself to action. I’m joining her challenge of creating offline habits. I’m not sure if I’ll talk about it on IG or on my blog yet … since I’m trying to focus on life away from those two places, duh … but I did want to mention it.
I also made a cover for this art journal. I’m thinking I’m going to be finishing with it this month since it’s so little, so I slapped a Paislee Press “September” brush script onto the cover as a title. In gold foil. Obvs.
