Junk Journal January Day 22 and my video is uuuuuu Junk Journal January Day 22 and my video is uuuuuuup. It’s my favourite of the prompts. I am 100% biased. Thank you to the beautiful @megjournals for hosting 🖤 #junkjournaljanuary #junkjournaljanuary2023
We were talking about goals in German class yester We were talking about goals in German class yesterday … about how they’re silly and you end up giving up after two weeks.

I LOVE goals. If you have goals that just make you feel bad then you’re doing them wrong. They don’t need to be SMART goals or big goals or anything other than what you would like. Goals are just a reminder of what your heart wants. You can put something you’re already rocking on your goal list as a reminder that you’re already doing the thing you love.

Goals are for YOU, the you that you currently are, not a “new and improved” version. They should be kind.

Goals don’t *have* to be reached, either. A goal of journaling every day is still successful if you manage it 1/365. Doing something nice for yourself is a celebration even if you manage it once.

Goals are a snapshot of what’s important to you at that moment in time. It’s your own little mission statement and you get to update it as often as you’d like.

Goals let you dig and figure out and articulate and remind yourself what’s important. You bring the depths of your heart to the surface.

Anyways, here are mine. The most cliche they’ve been in years, but after 2022 my heart is looking for some cliche.

The goddess came from an idea from a book called Wishcraft. You create a muse for your goals, wants, heart. She looks after them and guides your path. I took a few photos of my nana, my favourite person, and ran them through an AI to get something that looks kinda sorta like her but also very much more like a goddess.
